You can now create Copilot cloud agent automations that run when an issue comment or pull request comment is created. Common use cases include: Generate documentation : Comment on a pull request to automatically generate or update documentation based on your code changes. Investigate errors : Comment on an issue to trigger an automation that investigates stack traces or error logs. Create follow-up tasks : Comment on a pull request to have an automation automatically create follow-up issues for refactoring or technical debt. When configuring an automation, specify the comment text that should trigger it. To get started, click through to the Agents tab in your repository, then pick Automations in the sidebar. Automations are available for existing Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business, and Enterprise users.
